How current are these preset sizes?
Social platforms change their recommended sizes without much notice. The Social Media Image Sizes Cheat Sheet guide lists all 25 sizes this tool uses, names the official help page we opened for 22 of them on 8 November 2026 (the other 3 are marked not checked) and says whether that page confirmed the size. It confirmed some, partly confirmed others and did not confirm 13, so check a platform's own page before you rely on a number.
Why use one resizer for every platform instead of separate tools?
If you post the same photo across several platforms, switching presets in one tool with the image already loaded is faster than uploading it fresh to a different site for each one, especially when preparing a launch or campaign that needs a YouTube thumbnail, an Instagram post and a LinkedIn banner from the same source photo. What is a safe zone, and why do some presets have one?
A safe zone is the part of a cover or banner image guaranteed to stay visible on every device, since platforms like YouTube and Facebook overlay profile pictures, buttons or channel information on top of the edges of a wide banner image on some screen sizes but not others. Presets that carry a safe zone, such as the YouTube channel banner and the Facebook cover photo, show it as an overlay on the live preview so you can keep the important part of the image, like a face or a logo, safely inside it before downloading.
