Why is my LinkedIn banner stretched?
LinkedIn stretches or crops an uploaded banner to fit its required ratio if the file you upload does not already match it. Resizing to the exact 1584 x 396 personal banner size, or 1128 x 191 for a company page, before uploading avoids that distortion entirely.
Why does your profile picture cover part of the banner?
