Resize tools

Resize tools change the pixel dimensions of an image, either to an exact width and height you type in or to a preset built for a specific use, such as a YouTube thumbnail or an Instagram story.

Set a fit mode to control what happens when your image and the target size have a different shape: crop to fill the whole space, fit inside the space with a background colour around it, or stretch to match exactly. Lock the aspect ratio if you want the resize to stay proportional, or turn it off for a free resize.

Platform specific tools such as the Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter resizers group their presets under that platform's own sizes, with the most searched size preselected, so you do not need to look up the current pixel dimensions yourself.
